We love a good cocktail and they can really liven up a party! Below are some of our favourite cocktail recipes.

Pornstar Martini (2 servings)
60ml vodka
15ml passion fruit liqueur
15ml sugar syrup
15ml lime juice
10ml passion fruit puree (can use Waitrose passion fruit & mango puree)
120ml passion fruit juice
Crushed ice
1 fresh passion fruit for garnish, washed and halved
60ml prosecco
Serve in coupe glasses
Add all of the ingredients except the prosecco and passion fruit to the shaker. Shake well and strain into 2 chilled glasses.
Pour 30ml of prosecco into each glass. Garnish with the passion fruit.

Rosy Gin
25ml premium gin
50ml rose lemonade
Ice cubes
Slice of lemon or lime to garnish

Valentine’s Kiss
70ml white rum
70ml pineapple juice
100ml pomegranate juice
30ml grenadine syrup
10ml fresh lime juice
Ice cubes
Combine all ingredients and garnish with a slice of lime.

Bee’s Knees
50ml Gin
2 tsp honey
20ml lemon juice
20ml orange juice
Crushed or cubed ice
Orange zest twist to garnish
Add the gin and honey to a shaker and stir until combined. Add the lemon, orange juice and ice. Shake well and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with the orange zest.

Black Velvet
Guinness
Champagne/Prosecco
Half fill champagne flutes with Guinness, top up with Champagne or Prosecco.

Blue Hawaii
20ml vodka
20ml white rum
15ml blue curaçao
85ml pineapple juice
Crushed ice
Pineapple slice and umbrella for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and umbrella.

Mojito
60ml White rum
Soda water (lime flavoured)
Juice of half a lime
Handful of mint leaves (torn)
Crushed ice
1 tsp granulated sugar
Put the crushed ice in a tall glass until it is approximately ⅔ full. Put the lime juice, sugar and some mint leaves in a small jug and muddle together (the end of a rolling pin is ideal for this). Then pour into the glass.
Add the white rum and stir together.
Top with soda water and add more ice if needed.
Garnish with mint leaves.

Tequila Sunrise
20ml vodka
20ml white rum
15ml blue curaçao
85ml pineapple juice
Crushed ice
Pineapple slice and umbrella for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
Strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and umbrella.

Margarita
Ice
50ml Tequila
20ml Triple Sec or Cointreau
25ml Lime Juice
Lime wedge & coarse salt for garnish (optional)
Few drops of sugar syrup or agave syrup to sweeten (optional)
Sprinkle some salt on a small plate or saucer. Rub one wedge of lime along the rim of a glass and then dip it into the salt so that the rim is covered.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice and shake.
Strain the mix into the prepared glass over fresh ice. Serve with a wedge of lime.
